Duncan, a computer programmer made homeless after losing his job, finds a corpse near where he camps. He steals the man's identity, and for a short time he has a new life. Then the FBI shows up -- the corpse was on the witness protection program, getting ready to testify against the mob. Duncan runs and starts a new life again in a small town in Utah. He falls in love. But both the FBI and mob track him down and have plans for him. Can he play one against the other and try this new life business one more time?

A modern retelling for the digital age of the Dickens classic. Mrs. Cratchit has had it with her husband's boss. Bob Cratchit is a wimp, and Scrooge is a tyrant.
